Jordan’s King Abdullah II will visit Berlin next Monday for a two-day official visit, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA) on Wednesday. German government spokesman, Karsten Heye, said that King Abdullah will meet a number of senior officials, including Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer.
Talks are expected to be centered on current situation in the Middle East and the Jordanian-Egyptian initiative as well as the Mitchell.
Germany has backed the joint Arab peace plan during a recent visit by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to Germany.
