Japanese Film Festival starts in Tunisia

Japanese film festival will be held from March 7 to 12 in Ibn-Khaldoun Culture House. The festival, which aims at enhancing the cultural exchange between Japan and Tunisia, is organized by the Cultural Cooperation Committee and with the cooperation of Japan Embassy. The festival will open on March 7 at 18:30 with the famous Japanese director Takeshi Kitano’s movie “Hana Bi” (1997), which won several awards in Lion and Venice film festivals.

 

Other films that will be shown during the festival are “Pale Hand” (1990) by Seijiro Koyama, “The Big Abduction of Rainbow (1991) by Kihashio Kamoto, My 24 eyes (1987) by Yoshitaka Asama, All the Time Summer Vacation (1994) by Sokaneko and Nice Snow (1986) by Ichikawa Kon.
