Italy, Jordan sign new agreement

The Jordanian and Italian governments signed on Tuesday a cooperation agreement under which the Italian Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) will start work in the kingdom as a non-profitable and non governmental organization.

 

According to <i>Petra</i>, the Italian society's work will focus on projects related to health, environment, water, education as well as issues concerned with refugees' affairs. COOPI is an independent non-governmental organization committed to fighting against social injustice and poverty.
