Israeli warplanes carried out two raids on south Lebanon on Saturday following an attack on an army position in a disputed border area by the Lebanese Hizbollah movement.
Two Israeli fighter-bombers fired two missiles twice at a 20-minute interval on the Seddana hill near Shabaa village.
Earlier, the movement said it destroyed an Israeli tank in the disputed Shabaa Farms region.
"Our fighters today hit an Israeli tank inside a position they attacked in the occupied Shabaa Farms," a statement by the movement said.
The statement added that the movement's military wing "Al-Aqsa Brigades" blew up the Israeli tank at 2:20 p.m. (1130 GMT) in the "enemy-occupied" Shabaa Farms.
Al-Manar TV Channel displayed footage of the operation.
Israeli forces returned fire but there were no immediate reports of injures.
Lebanese sources said that Israeli artillery and helicopters immediately responded, firing some 90 shells at villages facing the Shabaa Farms.
The movement kidnapped three Israeli soldiers in the same area last October.
