ALBAWABA - Israeli strike targets two buildings in Beirut's southern suburbs, Lebanese state media reported Sunday.

The Israeli military claimed to have attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut's southern suburbs, Al Jadeed said.

In a joint statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced, "We ordered the targeting of Beirut's southern suburbs in response to Hezbollah's rocket fire on Israeli settlements."

Later, Israel's Channel 12 reported that "three missiles struck two apartments in the southern suburbs."
