An Israeli was seriously injured Wednesday when the car in which he was travelling was fired upon in the West Bank, a military source said.
The incident occurred as the Israeli, whose identity was not given, was driving near the small Atarot airport between Jerusalem and the Palestinian-run city of Ramallah, an Israeli military source told AFP.
Israelis driving through the West Bank and Gaza Strip, often Jewish settlers living in the Palestinian territories, have often come under gunfire since Israeli-Palestinian violence erupted three months ago -- JERUSALEM (AFP)
