ALBAWABA - In a significant show of dissent, large crowds of Israelis have taken to the streets, urging the resignation of their Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu in front of his house.
These protests have also seen calls for an immediate ceasefire, with demonstrators asserting that a military approach cannot resolve a political issue.
The events, unfolding on November 5, 2023, have drawn thousands of Israeli citizens to various rallying points across the nation, including the front of Prime Minister Netanyahu's residence. Demonstrators held banners bearing graphic images of bloodied hands and voiced their demands for Netanyahu's departure, branding him the "minister of transgressions."
Another pivotal site for these protests was the vicinity of the Ministry of Defense, where Israelis called for an urgent ceasefire and displayed placards reading, "A political conundrum cannot be solved through military means."
Prime Minister Netanyahu had previously asserted that a ceasefire could only occur once all hostages were released.
