A Palestinian youth in northern Jerusalem was lightly injured Monday by Israel's border police who claimed that he refused to stop for a security check, said Israel's Army Radio.
It said that the Palestinian is a resident of the Beit Hanina section of northern Jerusalem.
Police claimed they shot the youth after he refused to stop for a security check at the A-Ram junction, located halfway between Jerusalem and Palestinian Authority-controlled Ramallah.
Police reportedly determined afterwards the youth's vehicle was stolen, according to the radio, cited by the Jerusalem Post newspaper - Albawaba.com
