ALBAWABA - Amidst the ongoing turmoil in Gaza, tensions have once again flared in Jerusalem. People who were denied entry to the Al-Aqsa Mosque sought to pray on the streets, but were met with a heavy-handed response from Israeli law enforcement.

The Gaza Strip, spanning an area of approximately 350 square kilometers and inhabited by 2.5 million people, has been under relentless bombardment for days. The majority of the population comprises children who are living on the brink of death.

In the besieged region of Gaza, families have resorted to writing their children's names on their arms, a heart-wrenching act borne out of fear due to the injuries and fatalities resulting from Israeli offensives.

Heartbreaking scenes are unfolding in Gaza, which has been struck by Israel.  With children experiencing daily bombardments, they inscribe their names on the palms of their hands to ensure their identification in the event of tragic loss.

Ahmed Abu al-Seba, presently residing at the Shifa Medical Complex, shared, "In the event of Israeli airstrikes, we inscribe our names on our palms and those of the children to facilitate identification of the deceased."
