Dubai Crown Prince and United Arab Emirates Minister of Defense General Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum has invited Israelis to come and visit the emirate, according to the Jerusalem Post.

In its Wednesday edition, the paper said that in response to questions from Israeli reporters Tuesday regarding the fact that his country was forced to host the Israeli delegation at the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank, Muhammad said, "No problem. Do you see any problem?"

In addition, the Crown Prince called on Israelis to come and visit his country. "Are you happy?" he asked the reporters. "Come back for a holiday."

Meir Sheetrit, minister-without-portfolio in the Israeli Finance Ministry, who met with Sheikh Muhammad on Monday at a special dinner hosted by the crown prince, said the question of diplomatic ties was not raised.

"The emirates have always been open to us," Sheetrit said. "When we will have peace with the Palestinians, it will open the doors for the entire region." (Albawaba.com)
