Israeli drone strike in Lebanon sparks Hezbollah missile retaliation

According to Israeli Channel 12, 15 missiles crossed from Lebanon into the Kiryat Shmona area, prompting the army to attack a building belonging to Hezbollah.

ALBAWABA- An Israeli drone targeted a car with missiles in the town of Hula, south of Lebanon. No details have been reported about the target.

The Israeli army reported detecting 15 shells fired from Lebanon towards Upper Galilee, with air defenses intercepting 10 of them, causing no casualties. 

According to Israeli Channel 12, 15 missiles crossed from Lebanon into the Kiryat Shmona area, prompting the army to attack a building belonging to Hezbollah.

In response, Hezbollah stated they bombed Kiryat Shmona with dozens of Katyusha rockets in retaliation for Israeli attacks on civilians in southern Lebanon. They also reported a direct hit on the Israeli site of Jal al-Alam with artillery.

Israeli media reported fires breaking out in Kiryat Shmona after several missiles fell from Lebanon, with a direct hit on a building. 

The most recent missile attack on Kiryat Shmona and its surrounding area included approximately 30 missiles launched from the Lebanese side.
