ALBAWABA — Palestinians were forced to evacuate the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which has been under siege for 15 days, according to horrific Israeli military footage. Israel is increasing its military activities in the area.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said the tape was taken 48 hours after communications were cut and air and ground attacks increased. Palestinian men of all ages stand beside tanks in the wreckage of damaged houses, with overhead shots showing groups of Palestinians approaching with their hands outstretched in surrender.
Israeli military have raided Palestinian houses, forcing inhabitants to flee at gunpoint and into bombarded areas, according to witnesses.
The Gaza humanitarian condition is grave, with 42,519 deaths reported since the fighting begun. In the previous 15 days, the Gaza Civil Defense Directorate has reported nearly 400 deaths, mostly women and children.
In Jabalia, the Israeli force has blocked access to food, gasoline, clean water, and medical supplies. Critical care shortages at local hospitals have caused patient deaths. Recent assaults have targeted the Indonesian hospital and adjacent surroundings.
Israeli military operations in northern Gaza began on October 6, targeting Jabalia camp. Analysts think these operations are part of the "Generals' Plan," which intends to forcefully remove Palestinians from northern Gaza for Israeli colonies.
Concerns about human rights breaches in the area are rising as requests for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid rise.
