On Monday, Israeli forces in the West Bank village of Yatta, near Hebron, destroyed the house of Taleb Mussa Shehade, a Tanzim activist who was allegedly involved in shooting attacks in which Israelis were killed and wounded.

Meanwhile, late Sunday night, Palestinians fired five mortars at an Israeli settlement in the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported, though there was some damage to several of the settlement's structures.

Separately, an anti-tank missile was fired at an Israeli army outpost on the Israel-Egypt border in the southern Gaza Strip. There were no injuries as a result of this attack, and Israeli troops returned fire.

Also late Sunday, the Israeli army imposed a closure on the West Bank city of Qalqilya after Palestinians fired on a group of construction workers building the "security fence" in the area.

One of the workers, a 40-year-old Israeli Arab, was injured in the attack and taken to hospital for treatment. He was reported to be in moderate condition.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli forces entered Qalqilya and imposed a curfew on the city following the attack. (Albawaba.com)
