Five human skeletons were found Sunday during excavation work conducted by Israel’s Mekorot national water company in the Jordan Valley, reported The Jerusalem Post newspaper, quoting Israel Radio.

The human remains were found in the course of maintenance work being carried out at Nabi Moussa, south of the Jewish settlement of Mitzpe Yericho, said the report, adding that the remains are being examined by forensic experts.
