ALBAWABA - Nine members of the Al-Naami family were killed early Saturday morning in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the central Gazan Al-Maghazi refugee camp. After putting in endless effort to remove the dead, rescue crews sent a number of wounded people to the neighboring Deir Al-Balah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Several members of the same family, including parents, kids, and close relatives, were among the fatalities. As rescue personnel continue their job under continued airstrikes, the community is in grief over the tragic death.
In Jabalia, northern Gaza, an Israeli attack on a gathering of Palestinians on Sarari Street resulted in the deaths of two civilians. The Israeli military also conducted operations on the central Israeli territory's Al-Masdar hamlet and Al-Nuseirat refugee camp.
After Israeli shelling and gunfire targeted tents sheltering displaced families in the Mawasi district of Rafah, Palestinian Red Crescent medics in southern Gaza took dozens of wounded people to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. Additionally, the Israeli forces fired artillery and gunboats at locations west of Rafah and bombarded the village of Abasan Al-Kabira east of Khan Yunis. There was also intense shooting in Gaza City's southern areas, such as Al-Zeitoun.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said 45,436 Palestinians have died and 108,038 were wounded as the conflict in Gaza raged on for the 449th day in a row. Critical infrastructure is in ruins and many families have been destroyed by the unceasing bloodshed.
