ALBAWABA - Five Palestinian medical and technical staff were killed by Israeli airstrikes at Kemal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, according to hospital director Husam Abu Safiyyeh.
Two paramedics, a laboratory worker, a maintenance technician, and a doctor were among the casualties. The assaults' devastating effects on medical services in an already overburdened healthcare system were emphasized by Abu Safiyyeh, who denounced them.
In a similar event, the Fatah movement's Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for an operation that targeted an Israeli command and control center in the Netsarim region. Images of the strikes' preparation and execution, which took place in two stages—one in the morning and one in the evening—were made public by the organizations.
The photographs showed the aftermath, including damaged Israeli cars and the strategic planning that took place in a room decorated with pictures of Palestinian leaders, such as Yasser Arafat and Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. The downing of an Israeli "quad-copter" spy drone during a separate operation carried out in cooperation between the two factions was also emphasized by the opposition organizations.
Both organizations demanded solidarity against Israeli aggression and denounced the Palestinian Authority for its activities against resistance militants in the West Bank. The events highlight the rising hostilities and the continued humanitarian situation in Gaza, where lives and vital infrastructure are still under jeopardy due to the extended war.
