Israeli authorities prevented 386 pilgrims from the Gaza Strip from traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj through the Rafah Terminal on the Egyptian border.
According to information gathered by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, on Tuesday morning, Israeli authorities provided the Palestinian Ministry of Civil Affairs with a list of 386 pilgrims from the Gaza Strip, claiming that they will be prohibited from traveling to Saudi Arabia through Rafah Terminal for "security reasons."
The total number of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip intending to travel to the Hajj this year is 6210 and the first group was expected to travel through Rafah Terminal on Tuesday morning.
