Israel opens Zikim crossing north of Gaza

ALBAWABA - Israel announced opening the Zikim crossing north of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, local Israeli media reported.

Ynet news detailed that the Zikim crossing will be used for the entry of aid trucks into the strip, following an approval from the Israeli political leadership. 

Israel's Land Crossings Authority of the Ministry of Defense will conduct a security inspection, and then the aid will be delivered by the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations.
