Israel Loses $2b Due to Intifada

The Palestinian Intifada has cost the Israeli economy some two billion dollars, which amounts to two percent in annual growth, according to economic estimates, cited by Israel Radio.  

According to the report, the fields of construction and tourism have been hardest hit during the Intifada. 

More than 125,000 Palestinians who used to work in Israel before the Intifada re now banned from entering Israel. Most of these workers used to work in the construction sector.
