Israel embarks on massive PR attack on Syria ahead of London Conference

Ahead of the upcoming London Conference, it appears Israel has decided to launch a massive propaganda attack against Syria and the Palestinian Authority.

Israeli security delegations are heading to the US, France and Britain Monday, equipped with extensive amounts of “intelligence information”, which, indicate “Syria’s role in terror operations”, according to Israeli media reports Monday.

Within the framework of Israel’s diplomatic and public relations offensive against both Damascus and the Palestinians, keying on what Israel views as “Syrian support for terrorist organizations” and a “lack of full commitment to curb militants” on the part of Palestinians, Foreign Minister Shalom and Military Intelligence (MI) chief Aharon Ze'evi are expected to meet Monday with foreign ambassadors to present “proof” of the involvement of “Syrian-based terror organizations” in Friday's suicide bombing in Tel Aviv.

Brigadier General Yossi Kuperwasser, who heads MI's research department, will make similar presentations in Washington, London and Paris.

Shalom and Ze'evi will meet with European ambassadors and countries that currently serve on the UN Security Council to present the “evidence” that Syrian-based groups have been "involved in multiple attacks", including the weekend bombing at a Tel Aviv club, which killed five people.
