Iraqi President Saddam Hussein issued Monday a decree dismissing Interior Minister Mohammad Zamam Abdul Razzaq.
Al Jazeera satellite channel said Razzaq would devote full time to his responsibilities as head of the ruling Baath party branches in two governorates in the north, to which he was appointed last month.
The decree did not mention who would succeed the official in the key position – Albawaba.com
