Iraqi government performance not good, poll says

A survey regarding the performance of Dr. Ibrahim Al Ja'afari's government has indicated that 67% believe that it was not efficient in the field of fighting terrorism, and 74% believe that it was not efficient in the field of fighting corruption.
 

The survey, which was executed by "July Union for Social Development", showed that 90% of the interviewees believe that the performance of the Iraqi government was "not good" in the field of solving the problem of electricity, 6% believe that its performance was "satisfactory", 2% "good", and 1% "very good".

 

According to <i>A Zaman</i>, those in charge of the survey stated, "A sample of citizens of 265 (men and women) in 4 regions in Baghdad (Ziona, Al Sha'b, Al Talebeya, and Al Thawra) were surveyed."

 

With regard to the government performance in the field of solving the problem of unemployment, 68% believed that it was "not good", against 15% believing it was "satisfactory", 4% "good" and 1% "very good". Al Zaman
