Iraq's agriculture minister on Sunday accused United States and British warplanes enforcing "no-fly" zones of burning crops in the northern part of Iraq, Baghdad Radio reported, cited by AFP.
"US and British planes dropped incendiary bombs on fields in the Nemrud region of Niniveh province on Friday, burning crops of wheat and barley," Abdel Ilah Hamid charged.
"Through these acts, the enemy prove their implacable hatred for the Iraqi people," he explained. (Albawaba.com)
