Baghad has sent a shipment of medical supplies to the Palestinian occupied territories, the Iraqi health minister said Friday.

"In line with orders from President Saddam Hussein, Iraq on Thursday sent a shipment of humanitarian aid, composed of a cargo of medicines and medical equipment, to support the Palestinian struggle against the Zionist occupation forces," Umid Medhat Mubarak told INA news agency.

"Iraqi hospitals also continue to care for those wounded in the Palestinian intifada and to offer them medical services under the supervision of Iraqi specialists," he added. (Albawaba.com)
