An Arab television station reported Friday that it received a video showing the killing of kidnapped Italian journalist Enzo Baldoni, whom captors had threatened to execute if Italy did not pullout forces from Iraq. The Qatar-based Al-Jazeera said the video was too graphic to broadcast but appeared to show Baldoni being slain.
On his part, Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi condemned the reported killing and repeated his statement of Tuesday that Italy's 3,000 troops would not abandon the U.S.-led forces and Iraq's government, The AP reported. (albawaba.com)
