Iran\'s Province Exports $2.7b Worth of Non-Oil Goods in 9 Months

Sistan-Baluchestan Province has exported $2.7 billion worth of non-oil commodities in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year of 1379 (started March 20), Iran's official news agency (IRNA) reported. 

Head of Iran's Customs Office, Mahdi Karbassian expressed his hope that the figure will increase to $4 billion by the end of the year, said IRNA. 

Exports in March-December period for the year 2000 showed an increases of 11.5 and 13.5 percent in terms of value and weight compared to the corresponding period last year -- Albawaba.com
