Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara received in Damascus on Thursday Iranian Ambassador to Syria, Hussein Sheikh al-Islam on the occasion of the end of his mission in the country.
Shara praised the ambassador's efforts exerted in developing ties between Syria and Iran, according to the official Syrian Arab News Agency.
On his part, Sheikh al-Islam thanked the Syrian government for its cooperation during his term in office. (Albawaba.com)
