The United States is financing unrest in several Muslim countries, including Iran, the Islamic republic's intelligence minister charged on Tuesday.
"The United States has spent huge amounts of money to launch religious wars and to intensify ethnic prejudice in Islamic countries," Hojatoleslam Ali Yunesi said, quoted by IRNA.
"The US is spending money to instigate clashes among Muslims, and the US has started such moves in our country," he added, saying Tehran was "trying to stop this dangerous conspiracy through diplomacy and security cooperation with other countries." (Albawaba.com)
