Syrian Chairman of the Revolutionary Youths Union, Adnan Arbash on Wednesday received Secretary General of the Iranian Islamic Partnership Front, Sayied Mohammed Riza Khatami and his accompanying delegation.
In the course of the meeting, Arbash stressed the need for strengthening cooperation between the Iranian and Syrian youth organizations. In addition, he briefed the Iranian delegation on the activities of his organization.
Khatami, for his part, praised the existing strong relations between both countries and emphasized the need for exchanging expertise, according to SANA.
Later, the Iranian delegation visited the liberated city of Quneitra, where they were briefed on the city’s situation prior to and after the withdrawal of Israeli occupation troops.
The Iranian delegation, which was received by the Quneitra Governor, Nawaf Fares toured the city and inspected the traces of the “brutal destruction” of the city’s buildings.
