Twelve university students and their three teachers have been killed when their bus plunged into a ravine in the southern part of Iran, state radio reported Sunday.
The crash took place Saturday, an estimated 60 kilometers from the port city of Bandar Abbas, the report said, adding the driver had apparently lost control of the bus in slippery conditions.
The report added that the 15 dead were part of a group of 33 students and teachers from the Malayer Free Islamic University in the western Iranian province of Hamedan. (Albawaba.com)
