Senior officials from the European "trio" -- France, Britain and Germany -- will hold talks with Iranian officials on Thursday to discuss Tehran's nuclear programs. According to IRNA, the nuclear talks between will be held behind closed doors and in a secret location to avoid press coverage.
The Iranian delegation is led by Amir-Hossein Zamani-nia, Iran's Foreign Ministry Director General for International Affairs. The European trio have already announced that they would provide Iran with nuclear technology if Tehran suspends all its uranium enrichment activities.
Iran's ambassador to the Vienna-based UN watchdog nuclear agency, IAEA, Pirouz Hosseini has said that Iran expects to receive a proposal from the European trio but that no decision will be reached on Thursday. "We have to receive the text of the proposal and then take it back to our capital and see if it is approved, if it is not approved, then that will be another story," he said. (albawaba.com)
