Iran's President Mohammad Khatami arrived in Algeria
Saturday on the first part of a three Arab-African states tour to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues.
Khatami was officially welcomed by his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika, IRNA reported.
Khatami`s visit to Algeria, which is to open a new chapter in bilateral relations between Iran and Algeria, is in response to the visit by Bouteflika to Iran last year. (Albawaba.com)
