According to Iran's official IRNA news agency, President Hassan Rouhani  says his country is ready for final nuclear talks with world powers.

The comments came this Tuesday while Rouhani was meeting with visiting Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt.

"We are fully ready for the final phase of talks and achieving their conclusion," IRNA quoted Rouhani as saying.

He claimed that if the West is being "honest and serious" then there is a real chance of completing an agreement.

Talks to discuss the Tehran’s nuclear capabilities and potentially capping the output are scheduled for February.  It is expected that Iran and world powers will begin new rounds of talks they shelved in November.

A six-month agreement went into practice in January allowing the US to ease some of the monetary sanctions on Iran.
