Police in the Islamic republic of Iran have intensified their crackdown on prostitution, with undercover agents identifying some 150 vice workers plying the streets of wealthy north Tehran, a report said Saturday.
The Iran paper said several arrests were made however provided no number. Additionally, it reported that five foreigners were also among those arrested, but did not give their nationalities.
Moreover, it said the operation was conducted on Mirdamad and Vali-Asr avenues in the north of the capital city, known areas of street prostitution. (Albawaba.com)
