Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi is expected to
arrive in Kuwait on Monday on an official visit to discuss bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues including Iran's nuclear portfolio.
During his weekly press briefing held Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said that Kharazi is to meet with Kuwaiti officials to discuss
methods of strengthening bilateral relations and to exchange views on Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Asefi said that Kuwait can play an effective role within the IAEA and other international bodies, saying that Tehran naturally welcomes any attempt to defend its legal right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. (Albawaba.com)
