Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Saturday that resistance and unity are two important elements in dealing with Israel's expansionist policies in occupied Palestine.

Speaking at the extraordinary session of the executive committee of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), he said during recent years over 130 peace plans and resolutions have been issued but none of them has managed to stop the Zionist regime's crimes.

A just peace in Palestine would be established only when its real settlers can govern it, he said, adding that for this reason Iran believes that a referendum with participation of all real settlers could be a suitable solution to the issue. By the time this is achieved, the Islamic and Arab countries should sever their relations with the Zionist regime and prevent any economic cooperation with Israeli companies.

Disturbing regional peace and security under atmosphere of terror and violence are among the existence philosophy of Israel, he said adding that the Zionist regime without this mission could not survive any more.

According to IRNA, he voiced regret over lack of a serious tools to deal with the crimes of the Zionists and said "this fabricated regime only understands the language of force."
