An Iranian woman convicted of murder has been executed by hanging in a Tehran prison, according to the Etemad newspaper Thursday.
Zinat al-Sadat, a nurse, 34, was found guilty of strangling a 70-year-old man and his 11-year-old grandson with a rope four years ago. The woman was charged with caring for the man, and had strangled him to rob him.
The paper said she was executed on Wednesday.
