Iran's motorcycle industry is producing about 25,0000 units annually, an industry official was quoted as saying by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).
Mohammad Reza Zanjanifar, head of the society of motorcycle industries, highlighted the "great progress" made in manufacturing motorcycle spare parts in the years after the victory of the 1979 Islamic revolution. He said it has become one of the main transportation vehicles in the country.
