A delegation from the Inter-Parliamentary Union will embark on a Middle East tour that will take them to Jordan, the Palestinian territories and Israel, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
The delegation, headed by French MP Yves Tavernier, will hold talks with the Jordanian, Palestinian and Israeli parliamentarians on the current situation in the Palestinian territories, said KUNA.
The Geneva-based IPU was founded in 1889 and has 141 national parliaments affiliated and five regional parliamentary organizations associated – Albawaba.com
