The international exhibition for security technologies is to start in Cairo on Thursday with the participation of over 100 specialized companies representing 22 states, said reports.
The latest techniques in fighting narcotics and crime would be displ! ayed in the exhibition, in addition to the armament used by the police.
Chairman of Egyptian public authority for exhibitions and world market affairs, Mohammed al-Saeed Saleh told reporters that the five-day exhibition includes systems to save information and documents, detect the counterfeit means and the electronic systems needed to secure vital installations.
He added that the most modern alarms and devices to protect buildings, homes and vehicles from theft would also be on display, in addition to clothes, police tasks and other devices and equipment related to security activities.
Saleh pointed out that the exhibition aims at bringing into view modern security technologies that are of interest to the police apparatus, companies and institutions working in this field. (Albawaba.com)
