A new Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Khalil Alami was appointed at International Cards Company during the first board meeting in June 2006.
Being promoted from Deputy General Manager, Mr. Alami’s primary role at ICC will be to overlook and be responsible for all strategic decisions, planning and implementation to ensure the company’s path for profitability, in addition to driving new business within the Kingdom and eventually regionally.
Mr. Alami brings a wealth of financial knowledge to the company, previously appointed as the Deputy General Manger at ICC exposed him to the company’s Operations, Quality Assurance, Business Development, Corporate Relations, Product Development among other aspects of the business. Prior to Mr. Alami’s employment at ICC he had obtained the position of Securities Department Head at Arab Corporation Financial Investments Co. and held the position of Financial Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors in the United States of America. Mr. Alami obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the highly renowned Purdue University and then continued his postgraduate studies at the American University of Beirut where he received a MBA.
