July 2006 - Infiniti, the fastest growing luxury brand in the GCC, has set a new milestone in Japanese luxury car sales by topping the sales chart in the UAE, the largest market for luxury automotive brands in the Middle East.
Recently, Infiniti announced that its sales rose by 710% between 2004 and 2005, and the trend is continuing well into 2006 - sales for Infiniti between Q1 2005 and Q1 2006 rose by 183%, while other luxury Japanese automotive brands recorded a rise in sales of only 8%.
"With its unique vibrant design, Infiniti has set the mark for the Japanese luxury car segment in becoming the fastest growing and best selling luxury brand in a very short period of time" commented Mustansir Lakdawala, Infiniti Brand Manager at Infiniti Middle East. "Infiniti has defined progressive luxury in a fresh and youthful way - it is the newest contender in the luxury car brand segment from Japan and our growth in that segment is a testament to how well the brand has been received in the region" continued Lakdawala.
The Infiniti lineup includes the QX56 full size SUV, FX35 premium crossover, G35 Sedan and Coupe, and soon to be launched, the award winning Infiniti M45, touted as the latest luxury performance sedan to join the Infiniti line-up in the Middle East.
