Increase in number of British and German tourists coming to Tunisia

In Tunisia, increases have been recorded in the number of British and German tourists coming to Sousse city, El Kantaoui and Kairoun. La Presse reports that in more than 108 hotels, including 8 five star hotels, the number of tourists increased between January and June 2005. In these hotels, in the first period of the year, the stay of British tourists rose to 759,396 nights followed by Germans (614,415 nights).

 

Apart from British and German tourists, Russians (217,931 nights), Scandinavians (206,167 nights), Belgians (119,320 nights), French (111,181 nights) and Italian (100,593 nights) tourists were among the nationalities showing an increase.
