Iran needs to be fully transparent over its nuclear program, but its cooperation thus far with the United Nations nuclear watchdog has been "satisfactory", the IAEA chief told the BBC on Friday.

"We are there (in Iran) with full force. We are doing lots of environmental samples, we are interviewing people, we are looking at satellite imagery, we are visiting sites," International Atomic Energy Agency head Mohamed ElBaradei said.

"They need to be fully transparent and I think so far what we have seen in terms of cooperation is satisfactory," ElBaradei told BBC television. (Albawaba.com)
