ALBAWABA - A massive fire broke out Saturday night in oil pipelines in the al-Furqlus area of ​​eastern Homs province in Syria.

The Syrian Civil Defense said in a brief statement on its platform on X that its teams are working to extinguish the fire and secure the area.

It wrote, "A large fire broke out in the oil pipelines east of the Furqlus area in the eastern countryside of Homs, this Saturday evening, January 10. Teams from the Syrian Civil Defense in the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management are working to extinguish the fire and secure the area."

It also accompanied the statement with a video showing firefighters responding to the fire, amid efforts to control the blaze.
