The 19th edition of the Horsemen Festival in the Moroccan Taounate province (north of the kingdom) ended on September 1. during the four day event, the traditional art of riding was displayed, the Moroccan newspaper, Al-Sabah has reported. Some 800 horsemen representing more than 50 groups from all over the kingdom participated in various plays and competitions within the framework of this festival. Some 10,000 visitors attended.
The festival, which plays an important role in the encouragement of economic and tourist activity in the region, was organized by the horsemen association of Taounate region in cooperation with the local council.
