Homage to Ghassan Abdul-Khalek

Within the framework of the 20th Moutamid Ibn Abbad Summer University, homage was paid to the journalist and cinema critic Ghassan Abdul-Khalek. Le Matin reports that Ghassan's wife, his friends and colleagues were present in the ceremony, which took place in Hassan II Center. Ghassan Abdul-Khalek, who passed away in Paris on Sunday October 24, 2005 directed several colloquiums and contributed to the organization of the first Asilah meetings of Cinema in the South. Nayla Abdul-Khalek, who gave a speech during the ceremony said, "Ghassan's friendship and his contribution to art is invaluable."
