Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiw Hariri ended his second visit to Damascus in a week after meeting with Syrian Vice-President Abdel-Halim Khaddam and Syrian premier Mohammed Mustafa Miro Tuesday, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
According to a statement issued by Hariri’s office, the men discussed promoting bilateral ties.
Talks also focused on trade issues, including the need to eliminate taxes and other trade restrictions.
Currently Lebanon exports $25 million worth of goods to Syria each year, while importing $65 million in Syrian products.
