Are you ready for another break after this year’s long hot summer, but are pontificating due to the strain put on your wallet from the last vacation? Gulf Air can ease your predicament.
The airline is having a massive seat sale until the 18th September, with more than a million seats on offer at huge discounts, to a wide variety of destinations across the airline’s network.
For example Bahrain/Dubai is just BD29, Karachi BD70, Larnaca BD99, Istanbul BD129, Beirut BD149, Bangkok BD169 while London and Manila are just BD199.
“This offer reinforces our commitment to provide the best possible value and service to our customers and we hope that as many people as possible will be able to take advantage of this tremendous offer,” said Gulf Air Vice President Marketing and Sales Danny Barranger.
Tickets must be issued before 7 December 2005. The return journey travel must be completed before 15 December 2005. The maximum stay is three months although there is no minimum stay requirement.
If the low prices aren’t incentive enough, anyone who buys a ticket during this period will also be entered into a draw to win one million Gulf Air Frequent flyer miles. However, you will need to be a member of the Frequent flyer programme to be eligible for the prize so join now !
“Members who travel anywhere on the Gulf Air or Gulf Traveller network from 15 September to 15 December 2005 will go into a draw to win a million Frequent flier miles, allowing them to travel for free to any of the airline’s 50 destinations worldwide,” said Manager Loyalty Programmes Louise Robertson.
“There are three chances to win. The first winner will be drawn on 20 October, the second on 20 November, and the final winner will be drawn on 20 December, with a total of three million miles given away to three lucky passengers – or one extremely lucky one!”
These promotions follow the introduction of a range of enhancements from Gulf Air to its check-in facilities, allowing passengers in every cabin to benefit from a more flexible and streamlined check-in process including new 24 hour check-in, telephone check-in, and special services for same-day travel.
Gulf Air was founded in 1950. Today, it is owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and is the only truly pan Gulf carrier in the region. The airline’s network stretches from Europe to Asia and covers 44 cities in 30 countries. The fleet is one of the most modern in the Middle East and comprises 34 aircraft.
The airline, in the last year of a three-year strategic recovery programme, headed by President and Chief Executive James Hogan, is making rapid strides towards regaining profitability in 2005 and aims to further evolve by taking its renowned cultural strengths, which have been gained over more than half a century, into a global environment.
The dramatic turnaround in Gulf Air’s fortunes has won international recognition. In January 2004, The Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) presented the airline with the prestigious Airline Turnaround of the Year Award for 2003. Gulf Air was also the recipient of the 2003 Platinum Award for the Best Airline in the Middle East and North Africa, recognising the airline’s commitment to service excellence.
