The Joint Defense Pact between Cyprus and Greece is not restricted to the military sphere, but also has economic and political aspects, Defense Minister Socratis Hasikos said following a meeting with Greece's Deputy National Defense Minister Lazaros Lotides in Nicosia Sunday evening, the Cyprus news agency reported Monday.
The Greek official conveyed that the excellent level of relations between Greece and Cyprus and the two ministries was confirmed during their meeting, adding that such meetings ''deepen and strengthen'' ties between the two ministries and that the implementation of the defense pact is on a good track.
